Integrating hubspot forms into WIX and tracking them in GA.

SOLVE

Hello,

I am experiencing some issues with tracking form submissions as a goal in Google Analytics. We currently host our website on Wix, but have elected not to use the wix-HubSpot integration and instead embed an iframe of our form directly into the webpage. We have set the form to route users to a hidden thank-you page upon form submission, and are attempting to use visits to that page as a trigger for the GA goal. Unfortunately, the goal does not seem to be triggering appropriately, and no one is being tracked. The routing from the submission is working properly. I have gone over the goal setup to ensure it is all correct, so the GA end of the equation does not seem to be an issue. That seems to make it a Wix issue, but I do not know why.

Is it the iframe causing the issue? Would using the standard google Tag Manager solution found online remedy the disconnect? I appreciate any help the forums can offer.

Hi @BNelson0 hope your are doing well.

I don't know how you are doing this, maybe you can share a screenshot

but there is a way in GTM that you can create a custom event to track it.

You have to make a Custom event with a custom variable and use the Form ID  as part of the triggering.

You have to do this with every form you have on the web.

Hope this helps
