Hubspot Collecting Multiple Incomplete Gravity Form Forms
SOLVE
We have Gravity Forms installed on our Wordpress site. I am getting multiple notifications from Hubspot with incomplete form data ... ( not all of the fields are filled out ) , but I do not have the Gravity Form Entry in Wordpress.
Does Hubspot collect form information when the submit button is clicked, even if gravity forms shows an error or a required field is not filled?

Q: Does Hubspot collect form information when the submit button is clicked, even if gravity forms shows an error or a required field is not filled??
Short A: n/a
Longer A:
It appears so, but this behavior isn't limited to GF. We've seen this behavior using other leading WordPress plugins as well (e.g., CF7).
The way HubSpot Support explained it to us earlier this year is that HubSpot Collected Forms basically 'scrapes' the forms data on the page and sends to HubSpot.
Wait. What? SCRAPES?
Yea ... that's typically not what we're looking for when it comes to forms control in the HubSpot ecosystem where contacts (both good and bad) can quickly add up into the 1000's. Collected Forms are often more of a headache than they're worth.
As Gravity Forms supporters since GF v1.7.5, we've totally abandoned Collected Forms in favor of HubSpot's native forms tool. (available in HubSpot Marketing Basic+ available free beginning this year)
An alternative solution is Typeform -- a beautiful tool which is a completely different forms experience, but one which also integrates seamlessly with HubSpot CRM.
At a time when compelling visitors to complete forms is becoming increasingly difficult, we need those forms to work seamlessly 100% of the time -- no excuses, no exceptions.

Just to follow up on Frank's great post on this.
He's right, collected forms are triggered by a click on the "submit" button.
We scrape the form on face level of the page. We can't jump into your form's validation and pull all potential validation fails to stop this from happening so it's an "all or nothing" kind of tool.
It's designed mainly as a starter tool for smaller portals to help them get leads into HubSpot quickly and easily. If you're looking for validated submissions along with full control over your fields and form, I'd definitely recomend HubSpot forms
One thing I do was to correct though is that we released Free Forms this year. So HubSpot forms are available to all customers with a marketing Hub 🙂
