How to collect 2 email addresses per 1 contact on a form

SOLVE

I know how to add additional email addresses an existing contact, but I want to collect a contact's school and personal email addresses on one form.

And if I collect the second, personal email on a form, how can I make sure it ends up in the Additional Email column like the ones I add or import manually for the existing contacts?

I know you can create a Custom Property to create a column for secondary emails, but again I want one column with the additional second email, not multiple columns.

How to collect 2 email addresses per 1 contact on a form

Hi @RAgbon,

I answered this exactly a few days ago here: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/CRM/Form-Submission-Workflow-Create-New-Contact/td-p/1105225

This requires a Professional subscription with access to workflows. In the free CRM or Starter subscriptions this cannot be done natively.

Thanks for explaining. Unfortunately, have to stick with the Starter plan so I can't use the workflows.

Let's say I create a custom property for additional emails that I also add to forms to collect the personal email addresses.

When I want to send bulk or mass emails to contacts' personal emails, will that be possible if I have those secondary emails in a custom property? Or is it only an option to send emails to the addresses in the official Additional Emails property?

@RAgbon No, this is not possible. In a starter subscription, only the regular email field can be used for marketing email sends. What you're trying ti do is not possible natively in a starter subscription, unfortunately.
