How to change form placeholder colour

Shocked to see Hubspot doesn't have this basic functionality available to allow users to change the placeholder colour. The default is a light grey text on the field, which is barely readable.

Does anyone have experience with editing these and is there a custom code we could use to override the current light grey colour? Thanks!

Hi @DianaGomez. That's not what I was looking for. The answer also requires the form to be set as raw HTML. I'm comfortable adding some code to override the placeholder text colour.  Just need help identifying the code snippet to override this. Thanks

Yes, the code doesn't seem to work for us, even with an !important tag.

  color: red !important;
}
