Hidden form field do not work for external UTM link

Hello,

We are running multiple campaigns. We use HubSpot Form API v3 to integrate the form with our WordPress website, We added utm_source, utm_campaign, utm_medium, and lead references as hidden form fields. 

But the UTM hidden form fields don't capture anything. Sometimes the original source is even set as direct traffic although they are coming from the same ads. Original source drill-down of those direct traffic contacts (that are wrong) is showing 

/action/hubspot/submit.php. It is the Form API that we add in our website.

Here is our example UTM link. 

We don't use the HubSpot UTM builder tool. These UTMs are auto-generated.

Please let me know what I miss here and why it is happening. Any solution or work-around for this?

Please double-check your form configuration in HubSpot to ensure that the hidden form fields for UTMs are correctly mapped and set up to capture the values from your website's URL parameters.

Ensure that the UTM parameters are appended correctly to your website URLs. Sometimes, discrepancies in URL formatting or typos can lead to issues with parameter capture. If the issue persists, consider alternative methods for tracking campaign performance, such as using JavaScript to capture and store UTM parameters before form submission. This approach can bypass any potential limitations with hidden form fields.
