Forms not updating contact

Hi,

We have just had our website updated and had to reconnect our HubSpot plugin. We haven't and currently aren't receiving any contacts from our form submissions. We are unsure how to fix this. Any help would be ideal.

Hi @CBamford

Thanks for the information. That definitely helps narrow things down a bit. However, it’s still difficult to provide a conclusive statement without more details.

Would it be possible for you to share screenshots of some logs? The Contact Form 7 (CF7) plugin provides log details within its settings, and a screenshot of those logs would be very helpful for our investigation.

In the meantime, please check the following to rule out common issues:

  • Ensure that your API key is valid and has the correct scopes to handle the required requests.

  • Verify that all contact fields are correctly mapped to the corresponding CF7 fields.

  • Confirm that your form is highlighted in green within the CF7 settings (this indicates that the form is properly integrated.)

  • Enable API error notifications so you’ll receive alerts if the plugin’s API calls to HubSpot fail.

Once we have the logs, we’ll be able to take a closer look and provide more specific guidance.

Best regards

Dennis

Hi, @CBamford , It sounds like there may be an issue with your HubSpot form integration. To troubleshoot, start by ensuring that the form on your website is correctly connected to HubSpot, with the right lists or workflows linked.

Double-check the API key or authentication credentials, especially if the website or plugin was recently updated. Additionally, review your HubSpot settings and confirm the tracking code is installed correctly on your site.

You can also submit a test entry to see if it appears in HubSpot, helping you identify if the form is working. If none of these steps resolve the issue, I recommend reaching out to HubSpot support for further assistance Let me know if you need any more help 👍

Hi @CBamford,

Could you share a bit more context – which plugin, are you using HubSpot forms via embed code or another approach?

Best regards

Hi

We are currently using the Contact Form 7 plugin for the forms and HubSpot All-In-One Marketing - Forms, Popups, Live Chat plugin to link the site with Hubspot. Both are uptodate.

Hey @CBamford - thank you for these updates!

Curious as to what @karstenkoehler may think about this behavior knowing this context!
