Form submitting twice

SOLVE

Hi
We are using the Hubspot tracking code on our website set up through SEOmatic, and forms through Formie, mapped to a form built within Hubspot.

One submission we get two entries into Hubspot, one which goes directly from Formie and is named according to the setting in the website, and a second which appears to go via the hubspot tracking code which creates a form in Hubspot that is named with the Form ID and Classes of the form.
Is there a way of stopping the tracking code from sending that information? Thanks, Alex

Form submitting twice

Hi @ASkelton ,

Does the form have a mandatory field for an email address? If so, then the HubSpot will not create two different contacts for a single form submission. With one address, it will create only one single contact in HubSpot as the email address is a unique identifier for a contact.
If you have added the HubSpot code on the website, it will track all the data into HubSpot like form submission or page views, etc. There is no way we can limit this tracking.
If you have built the form in HubSpot itself, why not use its code to embed it on the website?

Hope this helps!
