Form Auto Populate Not working On Wordpress form

SOLVE

We are using an external form to capture an email and currently use formidable to auto populate that email in the next page which has more informormation like name, and other things.

I need to be able to use a hubspot form to capture the email then have that email auto populate in the next page witha a qery string like we had used with formidable

[frm-field-value field_id=305 entry=pass_entry]

This pulled the entry from the first form and placed it as the default value in the second form automaticly.

I have tried to use the auto populate option for the forms but they do not work. I enter my info and nothing is shown on the other form no matter how its set up.

I have it selected in the form to allow it to auto popluate

I have the wordpress plugin installed and connected

I tried to use the following link as but it would not pull the data from the hubspot side only enter what was in the link.

www.ourwebsite.com/thank-you-for-subscribing?email={{contact.email}}&firstname={{contact.firstname}}...}}

Each of the field names are correct but it only inserts that text not the data from the contact's email or anything related to the first email used to fill out the first step.

Form Auto Populate Not working On Wordpress form

SOLVE

Hey @KrisAndrae auto-populate in HubSpot works from cookies. So you need to ensure the "pre-populate fields with known values" is enabled on the form, you also need to ensure the "create contacts for unique emails" is disabled.

The auto-populate also stores information within the cookie, it doesn't pull data from HubSpot. This means if a field was previously filled out and submit on a HubSpot form it will populate the next time they visit a form on your website with the same field.

It doesn't allow you to enter an email and have a form pull information from HubSpot to populate your form. The reason behind this is that if this was the case, it would essentially make all information in your CRM publicly available, just by knowing an email I could enter it and pull all the rest of the information on that contact from your form.

If your form isn't auto-populating, do you have cookies enabled and accepted on your browser? Do you have the "pre-populate with known values" feature enabled? Have you previously submit the form or another HS form with the same fields on your browser?
