Failing validation in hubspot form for emails
SOLVE
Hey guys,
we are having an issue with the validation of emails in our Hubspot form. E.g. Using the email address "test@shore.com" is being displayed as not valid although the domain shore.com exists. Any ideas?
You can find the form here when you click on request free demo.
HubSpot automatically validates email addresses as they are entered on your HubSpot forms. This default functionality, built into HubSpot forms, helps to prevent spam form submissions. If you or your customers attempt to submit a form with a fake or outdated email address, an error message will be displayed beneath the email field.
Welcome to the Community, could you please send me a private message with the link of the form and the email address that is not being accepted? The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.
Hi there, getting the same problem here. Valid, active email address being flagged as invalid within an embedded HubSpot form. I have checked it in email-checker.net and the email is valid. Can someone please help me resolve this problem?
We are having the same issues as well. A completely valid email is claimed to be "invalid". Please help. I can send someone the form and email to test privately. Thanks.
hi @sharonlicari - yep. I have tested it in the tracker and it said it's valid. But it's not valid in the form. I can share you the email in private to test it out. Thanks.

The fake email address checking method is returning false positives in Feb 2022. We find all gmail.com email addresses are all rejected. Many of our leads are moms and pops and do not have corporate emails domains. ? some domains will be blocked regardles ? too fuzzy
Hello @JVOGELSANG, could you please provide us with more details on these results? Are you able to do a test with a valid Gmail email? What is the current process of the email checking? The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.
I noticed that if you have spelt the domain incorrectly, this too creates an validation error. For me it was as simple as having a double 't' in the domain address when it was only a single 't'.
Could you please provide us more details on how HubSpot is blocking your email domain in your forms? Are you receiving any errors that you could share a screenshot with us?
Also would like to mention that I recommend connecting withHubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, including hopping on a screenshare if necessary.
