Conversational Bot testing on the same page

SOLVE

Hello there.

Would it be possible to test conversational bots by running them at the same time on the same page and if so how?  I have a good idea how to do this on landing pages, however, how could I test 2 seperate bot flows on, say for example, the homepage of my site?

Thanks!

John

If you're referring to A/B testing for bots there is no such built-in HubSpot functionality.

Sure @jmaitz, I think your original roadmap to test alternate bot workflows on separate pages may be a good starting point provided each page has sufficient traffic to yield statistically meaningful results over time. In other words, maybe test two separate (but similar) landing pages, product pages, etc..

Another idea, if you don't have sufficiently similar pages with which to make comparisions, might be to scratch the 'A/B testing' perspective and simply track conversations of your different bot workflows across different pages -- e.g., Homepage bot vs About Us page bot workflows. This approach may give you good insight into the kinds of engagement your visitors prefer having with bots (in context).

Hope that helps. Good luck with your testing.
