Contact Form Builder for WordPress - setup doesn't complete

New Contributor

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to set up the new plugin for WP but it never finishes set up. It keeps sending me from the page where I choose the user (image 1) to the one where I choose the account (image 2). And it does this over and over again.
I have disabled my AdBlockers (as seen in another post) but it still doesn't work.

Thank you!

Hi @pvillalba,

Is it not letting you get past the screen where you select your portal? Or is that not the portal you are looking for?

If you are having issues getting in, can you please send a video and har file so I can understand where the breakdown is occuring.

Thanks,
Jenny

Hi @jennysowyrda,

Thank you for your message, I've sent you a private message with the video, but I cannot join any file to this message or the private one. Do you have an email where I can send this to you?

Thank you!

Hi @pvillalba,

The HAR file wasn't able to be opened. Can you try to grab it again and ensure you're following the steps outlined here

A few questions from the team:

1. Is this issue occuring only when trying to log into the wordpress plugin, or for your login in general as well? Can you go to app.hubspot.com/login and confirm whether or not you can successfully log into your portal independently of WordPress?

2. Can you confirm you are using the new WordPress plugin?

Additionally, can you please follow the steps outlined here:

If you already have the plugin:

  1. Log into WordPress
  2. Hover over "Plugins" on the left-hand side, then click "Installed Plugins"
  3. Find the HubSpot plugin and click "Update"
  4. They should be able to connect their account now.

If you deleted the plugin because of the challenges above, you can re-install it via the directions below:

First option:

  1. Visit https://wordpress.org/plugins/leadin/
  2. Download the latest zip file
  3. Log into WordPress
  4. Hover over "Plugins" on the left-hand side, then click "Add New"
  5. At the top click "Upload Plugin"
  6. Upload the new plugin file.
  7. Activate the plugin.

Second option:

  1. Log into their WordPress website
  2. Hover over "Plugins" on the left-hand side, then click "Add New"
  3. Search for "hubspot"
  4. Find "Contact Form Builder for WordPress - Converstion Tools by HubSpot" and click "Install Now"
  5. Click "Activate"

Thank you,

Jenny

Hi Jenny,

I've just sent them a new HAR file following the steps you shared, hope they will be able to open it.

I also answered the 2 questions,

1) I do not encounter the same issue when loging into my HubSpot account

2) I already have the latest version of the plugin (7.0.1) and cannot update it. I had deleted it a few weeks ago when I first encountered the issue, reinstalled and activated it, but I still have the same problem.

Thank you,

Paola

Hi @jennysowyrda

I cleared my cookies but I still have the same problem.

And "Block third-party cookies and site data" is not checked under my settings.

I have also tried using Firefox and Edge, but I still encounter the same issue.

Thanks

Paola
