Consent to collect chat cookies

Hello, 

 

We use the chat widget, but can't seem to get the "consent to collect chat cookies" to work. The banner shows neither before nor upon exit.

 

Are we doning something wrong?

Thanks for reaching back out!

 

You'll want to make sure that "Consent to Collect Chat Cookies" setting is enabled in your chatflow, as well as the "Show Consent Banner to Visitor" for visitors to see the cookie when they attempt to leave a chat. This article describes how to find this setting in your chat flow.

Hello Kristen,

 

We are aware of cookies and incognito mode. We do get our own cookie banner, but we never see the banner from Hubspot when leaving the page. How can that one be triggered?

We have it all enabled but do not see it after clearing cookies, nor in incognito modus. But you said you did see it. So maybe you could just explain to me waht you did...?

This may be caching error as I was able to see the cookie banner on your home page as well as on the chat.

If you're still experiencing the issue, may I get you to clear your cache and cookies, please? I've included a couple of step-by-step articles below from Google below for you: 

 

Google | Clear cache and cookies

Google | Incognito mode

 

Once you've cleared the cache and cookies, you should be able to view this page without any issue. If the issue is still persisting, you may need to try it out in Incognito mode to see if you're able to view the cookie banner.
