Changing form contacts to non-marketing contacts

I have a lead capture form setup and its capturing more marketing leads than expected. This resulted in us being automatically upgraded to the next tier. I'd like to change the settings so anyone who fills out the form moving forward is categorized as a non-marketing contact, but if I do that will it make all the past submission non-marketing contacts as well?

Hi @LCasale

No, this will only effect new contacts being created by the form. Once a contact is a marketing contact you have other ways - manual, bulk edit, workflows - to change that status.
