Changing a contact property thats been used in a form

Hello Everyone! 🙂 

I am trying to edit a contact property that has previously been created and used in a form. During testing, we filled in the form and have therefore added this property to a contact. When trying to edit the contact propety I get the error message "This property can't be changed because it has a value on 1 record and is used in 3 assets."

Is there any way around this? If I delete the entry on the contact and remove it from the forms - will this be enough?

Unfortunately no. As long as the property is in use, it can't be removed.

Hello @KatySteptoeMF , 

What are the 2 other assets using the contact property ?

If the property is also used in a workflow or list, this may also prevent you from modifying it, so you will have to remove it from all other assets.
