I love the new form creator with multiple pages. HOWEVER - I can't find the logic which was an important part of old one. Any ideas for workarounds or maybe just where to find it.
I also hope that it will allow you to use personalisation tokens form earlier answers. Would be great to make follow up questions like "Great Mattheus. Now what kind of challenge is the most common for Webs?"
I have been finding that there are gaps in the use of these fuctions because required fields are only being checked on the "Submit" action rather than the "Next" action at each Step.
This results in the ablity to bypass logic that are connnected to required fields if they can skip them in the step.
Anyone else finding this to be a gap in functionality?
I have the "Add logic" feature, but it's locked. When I try to add a new logic rule, I'm redirected to a page that prompts me to update my account. Even though I'm already a Super Admin in an Enterprise solution! The same happens when I try to add a new step... So, even if I'm a beta tester, I can't access the features that I'm testing...
I'm also looking for the logic functionality to be implemented in the beta build. Truthfully, I'm hoping they are adding the ability to use second (and third) logic functionality to build smarter forms.
Darn just saw questions have to be stored against a property in order to save. That's also a bit annoying. Would be good if you could ask questions without it having to connect to a property.
Agree, was also just looking for the logic in the new form builder (and not just for properties either). We have a form that I need to create and I don't need any of this info to go into any object properties, but I do want to be able to have the first question as a multi-select, and then all the follow-up questions display based on which options were selected. These questions are quite specific as we need to know the answers in order to provide the client/lead with further info so definitely need the logic in there.
Agree with the other posters that without the logic and personalization tokens, the current multi-step forms will not be usable for many (if not most) users. I'm hoping that this functionality will be added to the Beta and eventually the full release. I'd also like to have the option to be able to see incomplete submissions that dropped off before the final Submit button. There are only a few other 3rd party tools that have this capability.
Also is it just me or does a screen start jumping around when putting together a longer multiple page form? Yesterday I drove me mad as it was just glitching all the time. 🙈
