Best way to make entire sections of forms dependent on previous answers?

Hi everyone - basically I have been trying to bring an application we use online by hosting in HubSpot forms. The logic I want to use would be at two different points throughout the form, if 'No' is selected an entire section of questions would be skipped. I don't want to use individual dependent form fields for two reasons: 1) The section needs instructions and 2) They are a bunch of short questions we want to appear in rows of 3, so I would want the whole section to appear at once.

I created the whole form in one long version then split it all into chunks of what the next sections would need to look like based on yes/no answers and planned to use a workflow. However, I don't want customers to have to go into an email to continue their application and that's the only way I can think of to use previous properties to trigger a new form appearing. I was going to redirect the smaller forms to another page, but can't use dependent logic on that.

We use Typeform which has great logic to move past a whole section based on an answer, but we don't want these questions appearing one at a time.

Before I go back to say we have to concede part of what we want - is there any way to do this that I haven't thought of?

We would like form creation to have similar feature that Sidebar display has where sections are shown dependent upon another field's value.    This would be a valuable feature for Custom Form creation.

We are using similar idea you mentioned where a workflow step is going to validate conditionally related fields.

Hi @dualna,

Regarding your first point, the instructions could potentially be included as form field help text or as form field placeholder text – obviously this only works for short blocks of text.

Regarding your second point, correct, you wouldn't be able to display dependent fields in any other layout than rows of one field. There might be a way to accomplish this with brute force CSS but it wouldn't be an elegant version.

An integrated app seems to be the best solution here.
