How do I automatically assign the Ticket owner to the user who filled out a new ticket form I've created? Not sure what I'm doing wrong. The form has an email field that should correspond to a user in our system. But it doesn't work.
You would set up a ticket-based workflow for this. The workflow would enroll tickets coming from that form, then use the "Set property value" workflow action to set the value of the "Ticket owner" property: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/create-workflows
(Any field that captures an email address of a HubSpot user would not be actually linked to that user or signify any ownership. User properties can't be used in forms.)
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
