Auto-Complete / Autocomplete / Auto Complete Form Fields

We'd like a way in Hubspot to have a form field (Company, for example) suggest options as a user types like Google does when you search. For example, if a user starts typing "Nike, Inc.," she might see "Nike, Inc.," "Nikon, Inc.," etc. as available options, then select "Nike, Inc." Goal here is to (a) make forms easier to complete, and (b) reduce variations in our field entries

Excellent suggestions. You may wish to add to a new or existing thread in HubSpot Ideas.

You'll typically get much more traction from the HubSpot Community AND the Ideas Forum is where HubSpot Product Teams monitor suggestions for popularity -- i.e., VOTES! 🙂

You may also consider using fewer free-form text fields to capture data. Just a thought.

Does that help answer your question? If so, remember to accept this solution today so other searchers will find it fast.

Best,
Frank

Hi there, did you find any options that would make this work? We're looking for the same.

We've developed a custom module for implementing auto-complete on your site search bar.

Here's a link to the module on the marketplace:  https://marketplace.hubspot.com/products/magneticcreative1/site-search-autocomplete

The module won't work as a form field unfortunately, we've had a good amount of positive feedback on the module for site search, though. Hope it helps!

Looking forward,

You can manually auto populate your form field by using this script:

window.onload = function() {
document.getElementById('talentproduct-3c07f6a4-8353-44fd-832e-655bdeb59e25').value = "GR8 Full Spectrum";
};

Output: https://www.trginternational.com/talent/talent-management-solutions/gr8-full-spectrum/

You can find your Select ID using the chrome developer tool.
