All form submissions are marked as spam despite correct setup

Hello HubSpot Community,

I am facing a critical issue with my HubSpot forms as of 2025. Every single form submission is being automatically flagged as spam and no contacts are created automatically from these submissions, despite all recommended settings being correctly applied.

Here is what I have done so far:

  • SPF, DKIM, and DMARC DNS entries are correctly configured and verified for my sending domain.

  • My forms include an invisible honeypot for bot detection and in the contact record “Bot” is always marked “No.”

  • The form setting “Automatically create new contacts from unknown email addresses” is enabled.

  • The allowlist in HubSpot settings includes all major email domains like gmail.com, gmx.de, web.de, etc.

  • Marketing contact labeling is disabled so submissions are treated as regular contacts.

  • No domain blocks or restrictive filters are enabled.

  • I manually mark real submissions in the spam submissions tab as “Not Spam”, but new submissions continue to be flagged as spam.

  • I have not enabled reCAPTCHA on my website because I prefer not to use it.

The problem is causing major disruption because none of my legitimate leads are being properly added to contacts automatically. I even created a new, simple form with minimal fields, but the issue persists.

I have seen other community reports about similar spam filtering bugs or overactive spam detection in HubSpot since early 2025.

Does anyone have updated information or solutions? Can the spam filter in HubSpot be reset or temporarily disabled? Any help or official response from HubSpot would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Thank you for your response. I have checked everything, including adding my domain to the trusted domains list twice—once with https:// and once without. Despite this, the issue persists and all form submissions still end up in the spam folder.

Could you please advise what else I can try? Is there any other setting or update I am missing?
