Hi, from a quick search for adding CTAs to an external email system, the last post was from 2017.
If it is still the same and I understand correctly we can't add a HubSpot generated CTA to our external email system to send to our clients as the CTA has Javascript.
If that is correct, would a simple image with a CTA and a link to the HubSpot landing page work?
What is the difference between both methods, why would an email from HubSpot with a javascript CTA work vs an external HTML email program not work?
Before we dive into technical details, could you explain what exactly you're trying to achieve? Is the goal to simply link to a landing page from your existing email tool, for example? Or do you want to track something specific (in which case a URL with tracking parameters might suffice)?
Best regards

Good question. The people we are emailing are either from our existing mailing list from our internal system or new people added via our HubSpot tracking of existing forms on our website. They are also people who 'will' land on the new landing pages and sign up for the 'existing' news alert. These people are currently not nurtured through email but are just given alert data in the email. We have no upsell of our services in the current newsletters. The goal is to convert these people into clients by introducing them to the services we offer and getting them to learn more via a series of nurturing emails. The newsletter they have signed up to is already high-value content.
