Twitter X symbol

SOLVE

In Knowledge Base - Global Footer - Social Network, can anyone tell me how to update the Twitter symbol from the bird to the X? It can be easily done in a landing page but doesn't seem to be a KB option.

@MiaSrebrnjak I'd say this needs to be updated internally by the KB team!

Hi @AStewartITI

I've heard back from our Product team. They are currently in the process of updating the X icon in social sharing & follow me tools across all features. Some modules have already been updated (like the the default social sharing & follow me for landing pages and the Growth theme) and now allow a choice between displaying the Twitter bird logo (default) or the Twitter 'X' logo (see below):

But they have yet to implement the Twitter 'X' icon within the module that's used in the Knowledge base. 

I'll update this thread once changes for all assets are completed.

Thanks for this update - do you know if there is a bug with the links? I can't get the icons to link to the social profiles, it just links to the same page

When I click on the icon it goes to the same page (basically, behaving like href="#")

Hey @yshinzato, can you please check the following steps:

 

  1. Check if the social module has been added to the email by navigating to the email editor and ensuring that the social module has been included in the email content.
  2. Verify that the social media accounts have been properly connected to the social tool in the HubSpot account for Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise users, as the module will include the connected accounts by default.
  3. If using custom social icons, ensure that the replacement process has been correctly followed, including checking the file names and file format (PNG) of the custom social icon images.
  4. After making any changes, click "Preview" in the upper right of the module editor to open a preview of the module, and then click "Publish changes" if satisfied with how the module appears.
