The protected content is an important part of serving KB Articles to our customers, while also protecting our features in our very predatory market.
I really like the new Customer Service Agent, but was very dissapointed to find out that it can't consume protected content as referenence material. If I don't want one chat bot or another to have certain content, I'll build it that way. I would love to see HubSpot add the ability to include protected content articles.
Right now, it looks like the only workaround is to export the kb articles, save them as PDFs and upload them as files, but this is an opportunity for issues when that content becomes out dated (or a lot of overhead to maintain it).
I have just heard that we got a new feature now, that just got released, for this: "Train the Customer Agent on private Knowledge Base articles and control citations for public sources"!
How does it work?
For private Knowledge Base articles:
- Go to "Breeze" in the main navigation > Customer Agent - Click on "Content" - Click on "Add Content" > "HubSpot content & links" - In the "Sync HubSpot content" field select "Knowledge Base" - Click on "Add" - All articles including private ones will automatically sync in the background
So, this is not actually the solution I was looking for. I need to be able to use "Protected Content" (Controlled Access), instead of only KB Articles with "Public" visibilty.
As confirmed by talking with support, only articles made public can be used. Thank you.
