Is an upgraded plan required to edit the KB footer?

We are trying to edit global content in the footer of the Knowledge Base articles. I'm not an admin but I'm working closely with a super admin. I have design permissions and a Service Professional seat. Neither of us has the correct permissions to edit that section of global content. It says, "You do not have access to the advanced menus editor. To access, upgrade to Marketing Hub Pro  or CMS Hub Pro , or ask an account admin for permission."

Is an upgrade to Marketing Hub Pro  or CMS Hub Pro really needed to edit the footer of the Knowledge Base?

Hi @AValleUpright! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊

Thanks for the error message and details. Could you share a screenshot of where you are trying to click to edit? From what I understand, Service Hub Professional and Enterprise accounts should be able to Customize the knowledge base template and footer.

Best,

Kennedy

Here's a whole walkthrough of what happens.

Thank you so much for that thorough walkthrough, @AValleUpright! That makes sense. So the module you are trying to edit in the footer is a menu module. Since you don't have access to advanced menus in your subscription, you won't be able to create any new content for that module. If you want to add more text to the footer, it would have to be in one of the rich text modules.

It also may be possible to make changes to a global module template
