How to send an email.

How do I send an email when my email won't link to HubSpot? I've been trying for two days and I can't figure it out. Can someone in here help me? I've reached out to HubSpot a few times, but they are not interested in helping me. They send me articles, but I'm illiterate and they are difficult to decipher and follow. I have not been able to find a video that shows how to do this. I think the AI chatbot that was helping me messed something up.
help please. How do I get my email to work inside HubSpot?
thanks

@WJohnsonJr connecting your domain is something that you'll have to do with all platforms, it's not HubSpot specific. Doing that means that your emails come with a label that they're definitely from you - and not someone else impersonating you. If that label is missing, then email providers like Gmail, Microsoft etc get suspicious.

You can search for partners here: https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/solutions

Yes, HubSpot does have an interest in everyone being able to follow these steps. Maybe the @CommunityTeam can forward this thread to the accessibility team at HubSpot.

Thank you so much for your reply. I feel so alone and lost.

I have no idea what kind of emails they are. Does it really matter?  I just want to connect my email to hubspot so I can send out some bulk emails a couple of times a month.
I can't connect hubspot to my email, I have no chance at connecting it to a domain.

This is all over my head. I'm illiterate, I can't read and understand the articles that you linked. Are there videos that I can watch or is everything in book form?

I'm not sure the articles are relevant to connecting my email to hubspot so I can send an email.

@WJohnsonJr the articles I shared contain videos 🙂 if you want to send in bulk, look at this link: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/domains-and-urls/connect-a-domain-to-hubspot

It does however require some technical steps. There is no way around that.

You can skip the domain stuff but that will mean that not all emails will be delivered.

For sending itself, you can find more instructions in video form here: https://academy.hubspot.com/lessons/getting-started-with-email-in-hubspot

If this is all going over your head, I recommend looking for HubSpot agencies in your vicinity and have someone walk you through the steps.

Thank you for helping me.

I'd like all of the emails to be delivered. How can I avoid that? This doman stuff is new to me.

I didn't know there are agencies that can help me on a local level. That would be awesome. How do I find those, and how much do they cost?
HubSpot might be more than I need/want or can use. I just want to send 3-4 emails to my about 500 people a month. Probably a lot less than that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but HubSpot should want to help me get set up properly so I use their products. I've been trying to do this since Wednesday. You are the first one that taked about linking my doman so the emails get delivered.
What am I missing here? I paid for this service for a year, but I can't link my email to send an email.

I'll watch more videos to see if they can help me.

I appreciate your help tonight.

do you know of an eaiser CRM to manage?

Hi @WJohnsonJr,

HubSpot has two kinds of emails - marketing emails and sales emails. Which one are you referring to?

Marketing emails are sent after connecting a domain, in bulk.

Sales emails are sent after connecting an individual inbox, one by one.

You can find instructions for the one-to-one emails here, with a video: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/connect-your-inbox-to-hubspot

For connecting a sending domain, you can find another video here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/domains-and-urls/connect-a-domain-to-hubspot

This page goes into more detail about the sending domain (bulk emails). https://knowledge.hubspot.com/marketing-email/manage-email-authentication-in-hubspot

Let me know if you're getting stuck and where.

Best regards
