Knowledge Base Tool

I want to set up four different Knowledge Bases, each with different specialist content. Can I set it up so that Person A can edit and publish content in the Finance FAQs KB, but not in Sales or Research or any other knowledge base?

 

As far as I can tell, it's 'all or nothing' ie, if you can edit one knowledge base in our HS property, you can edit them all.  But I could be wrong. Let me know if you have experience of this and can advise.

As far as I know, that's correct. Neither are there granular user-based permissions by knowledgebase, nor are there partitioning options: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/limit-access-to-your-hubspot-assets

 

Other users have requested better permissions options already: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Knowledge-Base-Articles-Setting-Permissions/idi-p/719...

 

It's not exactly a request with a lot of traction yet and it's not very fleshed out, so you could start your own request in the HubSpot Ideas section: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Restrict-access-to-Knowledge-Base-Categories/idi-p/20...

 

The product team will review these by popularity and you can also then flag this with your customer success manager.

Thanks @karstenkoehler. I thought that was the case. We're only a small organisation and this access issue is important to us, so it's got to matter to other HS users as well. I'll try to drum up some support.
