Creating multiple tickets from 1 deal, based on companies associated on the deal

Good afternoon,

We have a reoccuring issue with our current processes, when multiple companies are included on 1 deal. To solve this issue, we currently create "baby" deals on each of the companies associated in the original deal (which creates tickets for onboarding, which also inform accounting of when to bill). Creating "baby" deals is labourous, and manually creating the tickets needed is not our ideal solution.

Are we able to create a ticket on all of the companies that we associate on deal? Ie, we have 3 companies associated with a deal, there would be a ticket created on each account. How do we do this?

Creating multiple tickets from 1 deal, based on companies associated on the deal

Hi @DSmith507,

Could you please share the full list of requirements?

This could be as simple as a company-based workflow that triggers when the number of associated deals changes, then creates a ticket record.

But I assume that you only want this to happen for won deals, that the ticket should be associated to company and deal etc...? The exact requirements inform how exactly this would be solved.

Creating multiple tickets from 1 deal, based on companies associated on the deal

Thank you for digging into this for us.

Our current workflow creates a ticket for the integration team when a deal
is closed won. Within our deal, we associate typically 1 company. The deal
and that company are then tied together on the new ticket.

We have situations where one deal may include multiple companies, and we
need to onboard products onto each of these businesses. In a perfect world,
a ticket would be created for each of the businesses associated with the
tdeal, when we moved it to closed won.

Does that clarify? I am happy to provide more details, whatever you need.
Thank you very much.
