Can filter settings in the knowledge base be saved?

We have about 500 articles in the knowledge base.

So, if for example, we want to proofread / update articles on a certain topic, or from a certain author, we use the search function and the filters that are available in the knowledge base.

Unfortunately, when I open one of the articles from the list, and then close the article again, the filters are not active anymore, I see the list of all articles. And I have to search and filter the same articles again.

Is there a way of saving the filter settings, so that I get back to the filtered list?

Hey there @LKramer3 - +1 for adding this to ideas. And let folks know you have (drop a comment here that you did) so we can upvote it.

In the meantime, what I'd do if it were me is open the results in a new tab so the original tab with the filters stays open as a home base.

The only other option is to have a separate spreadhseet, but that seems like more work than its worth.

I use all tools available to help answer questions. This may include other Community posts, search engines, and generative AI search tools. But I always use my experience and my own brain to make it human.

Hi Dan, thanks for your answer.
Yes, thats the workaround we use at the moment. But it would be nice to have it as a feature in hubspot.

Hey @LKramer3, happy Friday!

Currently, HubSpot doesn’t have a built-in option to save filter settings in the Knowledge Base.

When you open and close an article, the filters reset. A workaround is to open articles in a new tab to keep the filtered list intact.

I highly recommend that you post this idea on our ideas forum (here).

To our top experts, @Gaurav_Aggarwal and @danmoyle do you have any recommendations for @LKramer3 matter?

Thank you,

Pam
