Technical Support for CMS Hub Theme

In this role, you'll get to:

 

  • Learn, improve, and maintain one of the top-selling website themes available in the HubSpot marketplace
  • Use the HubSpot Conversations Inbox to manage support tickets submitted by email and website form
  • Respond to new incoming tickets within 1 business day and provide regular status updates for open issues as needed
  • Provide Live Chat Support during online working hours
  • Provide help and guidance by leveraging the theme documentation and searchable knowledge base to answer how-to questions and CMS Hub basics
  • Triage issues by capturing essential information from the user to escalate the issue appropriately
  • Create articles using the HubSpot Knowledge Base to provide step-by-step instructions for common questions
  • Extend product documentation as needed relevant to new features and updates, maintain the accuracy of documentation
  • Leverage snippets and templates to efficiently answer questions
  • Provide minor customizations via HTML and CSS (not required, but helpful)
  • Diagnose, test, and report bugs (provide temporary solutions when possible)
  • Work with a team of highly skilled developers who are passionate about their work and fun to work with (says the person who had this position before)



We're looking for people who:

 

  • Are fluent in English (written & spoken) and U.S.-based preferably in Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones
  • Are familiar with HTML, CSS, and Javascript and comfortable working with code, you don't have to be a "developer"
  • Have excellent communication skills, enjoy helping others, and are calm under pressure (you know, if someone's website breaks)
  • Are good at translating technical issues into marketer-friendly messages
  • Are detail-oriented and work efficiently
  • Are willing to learn and want to gain experience to grow your career in the HubSpot ecosystem



and also might have:

 

  • Experience with the HubSpot CMS and/or Marketing Hub Tools
  • HubSpot certifications (CMS for Marketers, Growth-Driven Design, Service Hub Software, etc.)
  • Understanding of basic SEO principles, and familiarity with PageSpeed Insights / Google Lighthouse is a plus
  • Prior experience in tech support or customer service
