ClearPivot is a 12-year-old platinum-tier HubSpot partner agency (www.clearpivot.com), and we are hiring for a new Account Strategist to come join our team.
LOCATION:
US-Based, Remote
THE JOB:
The Account Strategist leads and manages client marketing activities to plan project strategy, ensure delivery of project deliverables, and client satisfaction. Projects may be fixed-scope projects or ongoing retainer work, including but not limited to:
HubSpot implementation and management (both marketing and sales)
SEO strategy
Content publishing
PPC advertising
Social media advertising
Email marketing
Marketing automation
CRM management
Web design & development
The Account Strategist is the primary point of contact for clients regarding work in progress, managing project scope and client expectations regarding timing and delivery of work product. They:
Help develop strategy, review the strategy with the client and obtain client approval of changes and final work product.
Employ contractors as needed and coordinate all production personnel.
Work with ClearPivot’s creative team to deploy website launches, email templates, landing page designs and other marketing collateral. That includes ensuring logistics are in place to finalize design, SEO, formatting and publishing.
Collect key marketing statistics, condensing the data into monthly reports comparing marketing results against client goals and established KPIs. They deliver reports and review them with the client monthly and sometimes more often, either in-person or via teleconferencing.
Manage agency and client spending to ensure delivery of required services within budget and profitability targets.
All the people involved in the account(s) that the Account Strategist is managing all report to the Account Strategist. The Account Strategist reports to the Principal.
The Account Strategist role offers career growth through promotions leading into the Senior Strategist role for long-term high-performers.
THE PERSON:
The Account Strategist is disciplined, detail-oriented and organized – a “getting things done” type of person. They love spreadsheets, checklists and planning as well as doing. They are proactive in getting things done and resolving issues before they become problems. They understand the basics of HTML markup, and they meet deadlines.
The Account Strategist has a successful track record of developing, planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns, with clear examples of ways that they have successfully driven demand for their own company or client companies, and can communicate clearly and empathetically to instill confidence in clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads and manages client marketing activities to ensure client satisfaction and delivery of marketing initiatives, possibly including but not limited to:
Content publishing
Social media
Email marketing
SEO
Marketing automation
Paid Search Campaigns
Manages project scope and client expectations regarding timing and delivery of marketing initiatives.
Delivers monthly and ad hoc marketing reports to keep track of marketing results against client goals and KPIs that have been established.
Manages agency and client spending to ensure profitability and delivery of required services within budget.
Works with creative team to deploy website launches, email templates, landing page designs, and other marketing collateral.
Once per month, check client contacts' availability for the upcoming month and update the "ClearPivot Client Availability Calendar" accordingly
QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive experience with HubSpot
Experience with SEO, PPC, social media advertising, marketing automation and CRM management
