The Role

The Demand Gen and Product Marketing Guru will serve as both a key marketing leader overseeing the marketing function and be able to lead the product and market aspects of our Engage2RewardTM Platform. This role will be subject matter expert on the product functionality, and buyer behaviors and provide critical input to forming and articulating our unique value proposition. An outside-in approach will enable the Product Marketing Manager to understand the customer goals, motivations, and pain points and create opportunities for customer success. The role will create and deliver differentiated messaging for assets and materials designed to accelerate the buying cycle for prospects, and enhance customer satisfaction, and loyalty for current customers on the Engage2Rewrd platform or those utilizing custom solutions we resell. At the same time, the successful individual will work closely with our technology partner to influence products, based on E2R customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Marketing leader for a small team.  Experience building marketing tactics as well as strategy.  Understanding all aspects of Digital Marketing and content creation, with tools such as  Google Ad words, Google Tag Manager and SEO, Marketing content and campaign creation on HubSpot, familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Be the specialist on our customers and buyers, who they are, how they buy, and their key buying criteria focused on all stages of the buyers’ journey. Understand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the whowhatwhen, and why behind the decisions they make. Then lead changes to our sales and marketing messaging and programs based on what you learn.
  • Create buyer personas and define critical characteristics, goals, and success criteria for decision-maker and influencer roles in the buying process.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned. Develop differentiated positioning that sets Enage2Reward apart and clearly articulates our unique value proposition.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for internal content and demand generation teams - provide positioning, messaging, and segmentation to maximize the effectiveness of marketing programs and channels.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; develop internal tools and external collateral and share your expertise with them how and when to use it.
  • Be the Product expert ensuring all changes to the system are completed & tested to satisfaction.
  • Drive customer implementations, work with sales and our technology partner to ensure SOWs provide the correct information for our technology partners as well as support the customer needs. Drive schedule of development completion with a technology partner to ensure schedules are met and we deliver to the client in committed time.
  • Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products and coordinate the cross-functional collaboration necessary for effective product and release introductions.
  • When necessary, define and influence technology partner product planning upstream and E2R marketing messaging and positioning.
  • Develop a marketing plan for the Engage2Reward platform with our marketing team, including key activities to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Provide leadership and direction of both the Engage2Reward platform as well as customer insight into messaging and pain points to all GiftCard Partners stakeholders/employees (e.g., marketing, sales, and operations)
  • Research and document insights based on market changes (industry/current events) and customer success stories. (e.g., Covid-19 Vaccine Rewards, or Employee back to the office, etc.,). Bring those insights in the form of Voice of the Market defining clear messaging and pain points of the customer and what our differentiation is.

Skills & Experience:

  • 5-10 years leading a small marketing team and directing product marketing/product management role with a SaaS platform product suite
  • Outstanding writing skills, and ability to adapt the company's brand "voice" in all developed content
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting insights derived from research activities from primary and secondary sources
  • Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to build relationships with staff, colleagues, clients, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate differentiated positioning and messaging in the form of storytelling and proof points
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the application functionality of the ordering portal. Understanding and monitoring change to the functionality to ensure changes are both accurately described and delivered by technology partner.
