What We’re Looking For

As we build out our Marketing department, BuildingLink is in search of an Email Marketer to own the creation of original, accessible and engaging  email campaigns and automation that drive brand awareness, boost traffic, and nurture prospective buyers through the lead lifecycle funnel. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has the ability to harness collaboration to produce well-crafted content and is passionate about conceptualizing email campaigns with a focus on channel marketing. The Email Marketer will be the owner of all contact lists and will be responsible for ensuring their accuracy for the Sales team, as well as reporting on performance metrics back to marketing leaders. The Email Marketer will mainly work with the HubSpot platform for marketing automation and a set of templates to manage marketing activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and monitor email marketing campaigns in HubSpot, ensuring high deliverability to email lists, message and layout effectiveness, and strategic automation to boost lead nurturing activities.
  • Proofread key messaging, request graphics from designers, and ensure design and layouts of emails are optimized, and user and mobile-friendly.
  • Create list segmentation by persona, geo-location, job title, and other qualifying ICP data based on collaborative feedback. 
  • Monitor the health of the business domain by performing regular list cleansing activities, enriching data for deliverability, and raising flags with the department for issues that may affect future campaigns.
  • Strategize the workflow automation with Marketing Operations and Product teams to test sending cadences, value propositions, and supplemental content effectiveness within each campaign.
  • Track and analyze campaign results by developing KPI metric benchmarks and presenting data in dashboards for easy monitoring.
  • Understand BuildingLink product offerings and align business goals with lead nurturing campaigns that produce a steady flow of marketing qualified leads into the sales cycle.
  • Conduct market research to find the industry best practices and tactics to help improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. 
  • Contribute your ideas to the marketing team during strategy sessions based on your engagement reports. 
  • Work closely with the Product team to understand product functionality and their use cases. 
  • Develop promotions and campaigns in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and other departments. 

 About You

  • 2+ years of experience with email marketing and 4+ years of experience in professional marketing.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools
  • Ability to follow processes and develop new ones as you grow in your role and become a part of the business development cycle. 
  • Ability to document your work and present your data to your peers and members of the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Previous experience creating high-impact, unique marketing campaigns, especially with a focus on channel marketing.
  • Strong experience with list segmentation.
  • Outstanding copywriting and copyediting abilities. 
  • Passionate about keeping up with technological developments that facilitate the dissemination and monitoring of campaign features.
  • Encourages a creative approach to content and ways to position benefits, with the ability to inspire agencies.
  • Able to meet deadlines and keep cross functional teams on track and accountable in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Email Marketing Certification, a bonus.
