We’re looking for new Sales & Account Manager to join our tech focused full-service marketing agency.
As part of our ongoing growth, we’re looking for someone to join our expanding commercial team who lives and breathes HubSpot and understands its capabilities and how to use those to benefit our customers. When applying please highlight your HubSpot expertise!
Interpret the business challenges faced by Right on the Line’s customers (for example, engaging channel partners, generating leads, creating content to drive campaign results, bottlenecks in their sales funnel) and then make recommendations to solve these issues with HubSpot services or aligned agency services. The focus is on building a retainer-based set of active HubSpot customers contracting with us on an ongoing basis.
Works with our strategy and campaign teams to create integrated marketing strategies and plans that are targeted to these needs and objectives, applying an in-depth knowledge of all marketing tactics to select appropriate activities and channels that deliver results. These will include strategies around HubSpot features and how to ensure customers are getting the most out of their subscriptions to Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Operations Hub, or the Growth Suite as a whole.
Effectively communicate expectations, plans and results across the combined agency-customer team.
Build new and existing customer relationships, identify new growth, cross sell, upsell opportunities and ensure revenue targets are met.
Work with more junior team members to mentor them in their role and support their development (while also developing their own line management skills as they progress towards becoming an Account Director or Business Unit Leader).
What skills are required?
Exceptional consultative sales skills, deep marketing strategic know how and an obsession with delivering first class customer focused service. Oh, and did we mention an obsession with HubSpot as well?
Our ideal account manager will have:
Business development and sales experience
Demonstratable ability to hit targets and drive new business and account growth
At least 2 years of experience working in a marketing agency (those with 2+ years of experience will be suitable for a Junior Account Manager Role, while those with 4+ years would be a good fit for a Senior Account Manager role) OR experience in sales in the tech industry.
A strong knowledge of the modern marketing mix, including how owned, earned, paid and social media can be leveraged across a wide range of digital and traditional channels to drive business results.
A strong eye for effective creative work, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for the highest possible standards of work quality.
A positive, proactive attitude and someone who thrives on taking responsibility and accountability.
The desire to work and participate as part of a friendly, supportive team.
Experience working with customers in the technology sector including channel specifically, is preferred, but not essential
A marketing qualification is preferred but not essential
Valid HubSpot agency certifications are preferred (or a willingness to get them quickly)
Experience selling HubSpot and HubSpot related agency services is preferred

Business Development Duties include:
Identifying opportunities and outreach (phone, email, social media, and face to face meetings)
Promote the business when networking on LinkedIn
Generate leads and convert leads to meetings.
Close deals and develop relationships
Meet targets with new acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
Daily Duties include:
Prospecting & Outreach
Customer calls, meetings and relationship building
Consulting with customers
Hosting customer workshops, audits, and interviews
Working with the larger ROTL (Right On The Line) team to produce relevant strategies and proposals
Tracking against targets
Managing sales and deal within our CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
Final QA of communications and product going to customers
Preparing quotations and proposals
Preparing statements of work and briefing internal teams
Ensuring invoicing and customer project closes outs happen on time
General Duties include:
Correct use of our systems and processes across Asana and SharePoint.
Organise customer documents, filing correctly on SharePoint.
Training of new team members as needed
Ensure calls and call notes are logged on HubSpot and included in internal briefs as needed
Updating and managing deal reg ongoing
Assisting team with creating proposals, new product offerings, strategy on approaches to new and existing accounts
Stay abreast of HubSpot offering updates and continuously improve our offerings to remain up to date and competitive
Post project reviews to ensure effective use of budget, time allocations and ways to improve
Ensure customer profiles are being setup and managed by the projects team for all accounts providing any useful information ongoing.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers
Monitor competitors, their offerings, prices, and customers
Task other teams to assist in delivering on customer requirements
