Email Marketing Manager

Overview:

As the Email Marketing Manager you’ll be responsible for managing and executing the overall BabyQuip & BabyQuip Cleaning email marketing strategy. You will plan the day-to-day execution as well as implement best practices with the goal of converting leads to customers, increasing repeat rate and increasing AOV.

 

You will collaborate with the marketing, design, recruitment and partnerships teams on email marketing initiatives and be responsible for driving performance and reporting.

 

Must have excellent multi-tasking, communication and copywriting skills, along with a creative way of thinking. 

 

Previous experience in all aspects of email marketing and comfortable leading your own projects and working remotely is essential. 

 

Thorough working knowledge and expertise of HubSpot or similar platform required. Must know automation, segmentation, workflows, list creation and filters like the back of your hand!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of day-to-day emails and email campaigns from concept through execution, including manual and automated campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to advise, design, and deploy email campaign content that is compelling, accurate, and audience appropriate.
  • Responsible for email promotion conception and execution.
  • Maintain email calendar to incorporate new product/service launches, promotions and automation/drip campaigns.
  • Build highly personalized and scalable dynamic content.
  • Plan/design email mockups and work with marketing and design teams to execute final emails.
  • Ensuring design and layouts of emails are optimized and are user & mobile-friendly.
  • Q/A all emails prior to deployment for accuracy in content, spelling and links.
  • Responsible for project management and managing calendar/schedules for email campaigns. Communicates schedules to all participants and keeps mailings on schedule.
  • Track and analyze campaign results including continuously testing and optimizing email content to increase open rates, click through rates and other key email marketing metrics.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot email deliverability and address technical issues with HubSpot tech support.
  • Drive email list growth.

Skills:

  • Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to deliver creative content ideas.
  • Strong knowledge of the email landscape, best practices and trends.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Adobe CC or similar design software a plus.
  • Zendesk experience also a plus!

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in an email marketing management role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field/experience.
  • Prior experience in a startup environment and working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
  • Must be comfortable working independently and remotely.
  • Proven expertise with HubSpot or similar platform.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
