Digital Marketing & Operations Manager

HackEDU is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing and Operations Manager who will manage the tools and processes that drive our lead and demand generation efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of marketing and technical savvy; and be driven to help an early-stage company grow as a direct result of their activities. The Digital Marketing and Operations Manager will work closely with sales and the rest of marketing– communicating regularly with business leaders, marketing, and sales teams.


The right candidate will make it their mission to optimize the HackEDU marketing tech stack and create the processes for effective funnel management. Additionally, this person will be responsible for using these tools to generate new leads via inbound marketing, nurture down funnel, and serve as the liaison for sales follow-up on lead generating campaigns.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review existing marketing tech stack and create a plan for streamlining technology and processes in the stack to allow for complete top to bottom visibility of effective marketing campaigns.
  • Create and execute a plan that focuses on improving the effectiveness of digital advertising, web presence and traffic tracking and conversions, email marketing tactics, corporate blog, and lead nurturing through marketing automation
  • Enhance lead scoring, marketing attribution and campaign/channel ROI measurement
  • Own and drive the marketing website with third party web development help
  • Document processes created and communicate those processes to sales and marketing
  • Manage the marketing and customer database and its data integrity
  • Inform marketing content with performance analysis
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities through real-time dashboards and reports

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing required.
  • Five to ten years of hands-on experience with marketing automation (specifically Hubspot) PPC Advertising (specifically Google Adwords), social media (LinkedIn and Twitter, etc.), web site creation and management, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Experience managing third party vendors for SEO and PPC optimization and web development, required
  • B2B and SaaS software marketing experienced required.
  • Excellent email marketing copywriting skills a plus
  • Experience in the information security industry preferred but not required.
  • This position requires little to no travel
