We’re currently hiring for a part-time Content Writer/Digital Marketing Consultant to work at our offices in Lone Tree, CO. We are in search of a bold, creative voice to guide brand communications across a diverse mix of marketing channels. The purpose of this position is to optimize marketing activities & manage all written material we create for business purposes. This position will work together with all Financial Wellness Group team members in a start-up environment. This role is for someone who can harness the voice, style, and tone of the various offerings our company represents. This role has the potential to become a full-time position in the future.
Responsibilities and Duties
Write, manage, and edit product-related copy across multiple channels.
Write and proofread blog posts.
Create promotional copy for online ads, banners, brochures, and social networks.
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy and campaigns.
Implement SEO practices to increase blog posts’ visibility.
Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.
Update and maintain our websites as needed.
Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of our company.
Advise on branding, positioning, communications, and other marketing issues
Gather feedback from sales and analyzing consumer behavior to refine our company’s positioning.
Qualifications
A consistent record of crafting solid copy across several mediums.
Copywriting samples; a portfolio of published articles is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field
Must have 2+ year’s experience in content writing or related field
Interest in Personal Financial Topics
Experience using social media for business
Understanding of marketing business functions such as design, collateral, branding, copywriting, public relations, events, paid and organic media.
Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Proficient in MS Office/Working knowledge of IT and marketing software (e.g. HubSpot)
An ability to describe product features in a creative and informative way
Research skills to produce high-quality content
An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
Data-driven thinking & resourceful
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
Ideal candidate has a collaborative/self-starter approach, with no job deemed “too small.”
