As a highschool tutoring agency;

Name: Stressed out Sally

Demographics: Sally is a 45-year-old women living in South Africa with her husband and daughter. She, herself is a motivated hard working individual who spends most of her day at work or supporting her child in their day-to-day activities. She is well educated, however has forgotten most of the mundane learning she did in highschool. Calculus.. trigonometry.. she was right when she told herself she'd never need it in life. That is until now! All of a sudden she has a daughter panicing over the exact work she had to do 30 years ago.

With the future of her daughter on the line, and the standards to get into univeristy so high. She admits she isn't qualified to help, and seeing what a strain this pressure puts on her childs mental health and overall wellbeing is unbarable, Sally decides it's time to find someone who can do the job of building her daughters academic confidence, so that they have more time to enjoy their teen years. In addition the community pressure to succeed encompases the family as a whole, which creates an urgency to avoid cultural embarressment. In summary, happy, confident daughter = happy, confident mom.

Sally does have a few concerns though, while her daughter is sweet and lovely, shes going through puberty on top of everything. Every day is a rollercoaster of mood swings, insecurities, and teen drama. She wants to suceed but without the proper encouragement and confidence she would rather focus on areas that give her that level of pleasure. She needs a tutor that can connect with her daughter and build a trusting relationship over time. Additionally, constant classes every week work out to be very expensive, and so Sally needs to find someone who can really acheive the most efficiency in the smallest time.

  • Name: Shy Elisa
  • Demographics: Elisa is a laboring woman with a medium-class salary. She has a 9-5 job at a manufacturing company in Vietnam. She has been married for more than 3 years and has 2 kids.
  • Motivations: Shy Elisa always works hard and wants to connect easily with colleagues and the boss. Although she wears a uniform at work, she pays attention to her skin and often compares herself to her surroundings. She wants to prolong her youthful skin and be ready to pay for it. After the birth of two kids, her facial skin was worse than ever and became her obsession.
  • Challenges: Due to her job, she usually needs to work overtime and has little time to take care of her facial skin. She tried many different skincare products but they seem not to work well. Besides that, her financial status doesn't allow her to experiment with different expensive treatments to find out which is the best for her. Therefore, she needs to know the most reasonable solution at the beginning.
  • Values and beliefs: she believes that it takes time to get good results. She values truth, commitment, and a dedicated attitude. In her point of view, a good brand needs to get positive reviews from the consumer community, especially from KOLs.
  • Preferred Channels: she usually gets information from Facebook and her friends. She doesn't want to be bothered by strange calls, or SMS, and does not normally use email. So she prefers to chat via Facebook inbox (messenger) first, then make a call if she feels good.
