Which research methods have helped you curate your buyer persona?
My go to has been social media and messaging. My persona is fictional mixed with my own personal background, as I am the reason for inventing my product, so who better to target but those in the same or similar situation. I also like to reach out to my customers and gather information that way, since I know so many personally and have so many repeat customers. The reason I wanted to take all of these marketing classes is to learn how to market well enough and dramatically grow my customer base and build creditbility so my customers will keep coming back.

I usually use social media especially Instagram to interact with audience and ask a question regarding their persona. Furthermore, you can also see their personal account and see their behaviour

In my experience, we've used background information - usually from Linkedin or information from our sales team stored on our company CRM - and personal interviews with some of our customer's decision-makers.

I would have to say by word of mouth, creating my own business cards and flyers to hand out, building network through social media, connecting with old clients, and hubspot.

We have used surveys to understand what matters to different decision-makers. Our SaaS requires multiple decision-makers so we also do a lot of listening. We use twitter, check in with our support, sales, and implementation team to hear what current customer and prospects pain points are.

Using these methods will help you figure out it clearly: interviews, surveys by Google forms or other tools, social media listening and talking to your sales team.
