My work as a marketing specialist and supervisor of the sales team helped me in this through the sales team and their reports. I also made field visits to the markets, which leads to the formation of a good idea about customers, their way of thinking and their needs.

In my specific situation. Watching and talking with people and streamers on twitch. I would like to work with entertainment and psychology so, talks with them in a certain personal way allow me knows their preferences and needs in their lifes

The research methods that I typically use include interviews. Interviewing customers, front line employees who are close to the customer (e.g. sales team members) is key to finding insights that help with curating a buyer persona. Asking open ended questions is also a great way to learn about the customer needs and behaviours.

We have worked with both an outside research agency and also conducted internal interviews and surveys with customers who have interacted and are considered loyal customers. With both external and internal research data, we have a higher level of confidence in the accuracy of our buyer persona.
