Social media searches and customer surveys were conducted to build my buyer personas. Active listening to Social Media brand advocates was the biggest help when creating buyer personas.

I send polls to people that match the target, I do online research or use tools that can give me more information and see patterns or trends online, to get some sort of sentiment I also do focus groups, and tests with the focus group.

I leveraged social media searches and conducted customer surveys in building my buyer personas. Specifically searching hashtags and searching thru social media accounts, LinkedIn, and some good ole costumer feedback.
