What’s an example of an effective content distribution goal?

There are several reasons marketers will distribute their content. Some hope their content will drive traffic to their website, while others hope it’ll help generate new leads.

Setting a content distribution goal is the foundation to building a strategy that drives results. This is accomplished by understanding the purpose behind your distribution efforts, and making your goal SMART.

What is an example of a content distribution goal you would like to set?

Remember, a SMART goal is specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. To learn more about this, check out the Developing a Content Distribution Strategy lesson via HubSpot Academy.

I plan to validate my product before starting the development process. The goal is to generate 20 new leads in the Waitlist by the end of next month by creating an enticing landing page about the solving the potential buyers' pain points.

"Increase blog post reach by 50% within the next six months by implementing focused social media promotion and influencer outreach" is an example of an effective content distribution goal. This objective is in line with a content marketing strategy to increase exposure and interaction because it is SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound).

Love this - also make sure that you are measuring the impressions - maybe three posts are not enough - or maybe they are too many - so A/B tests can be really helpful here!

I'd like to continue with using my coffee shop background from previous discussions.

Goal - I would like to foster an active coffee-loving community and encourage active discussions.

In order to do this - I would like to get 50+ customers to share their coffee moments using a branded hashtag so that I obtain "user-generated" content.

Establish Email Marketing - increase email open rates up to/exceed more than 30% by offering coffee brewing tips and posible flavoring techniques, recipies.

Video Content - Produce video content that is created weekly on You Tube or Instagram Reels about different brewing methods - slow drip, pour overs, french press etc.

An effective distribuition goal is one that will have the customer as the main focus. One that I would use would be on with tracking as the central goal. We track the package and let the customer know what is happening the entire time. That way the customer knows that we value communication and will trust us more.
