What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

Buyer personas are key to creating a successful inbound business. Each buyer persona has his or her own journey to making a well-informed decision (i.e. buyer's journey).

The buyer's journey is comprised of three stages:

  • Awareness Stage: The buyer becomes aware that they have a problem.
  • Consideration Stage: The buyer defines their problem and considers options to solve it.
  • Decision Stage: The buyer evaluates and decides on the right provider to administer the solution.

Name a brand that you're a buyer persona for. What does your journey look like to doing business with them?

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

Buyer Persona:

Name - Busy Betty

Demographic - Late twenties early thirties  Female, lives downtown, full-time professional, makes 5 digits, single

Motivations - wants to eat healthy meals to keep fit, is a foodie, loves diverse food

Challenges - too busy to cook for herself, doesn't cook well

Company for Buyer Journey: Uber Eats - Uber One

Awareness: Busy Betty knows she can't make full meals on her own, as she does not have time to go grocery shopping or to cook and clean up everyday. She also doesn't have the money to be getting take out everyday

Consideration: She wants a way to eat well without the hassle, and preferrably to eat from the restarants with the menus she craves and is interested in. She coud either continue buying take out, or using Ubereats, but the delivery fees and tips are too much. UberOne offers discounted delivery and meal options, but at a subscription cost.

Decision: A subscription option seems fair to her as she will be profitting off of buying larger amounts of food at one time, and to save some as leftovers for her next meal or next day, She enjoys thge Uber Eats platform either way, so she decides to subscribe.

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

The buyer persona is the ideal customer that really fits with our products and services that we offer them. Once this one has been identified all the departments within the organization must be oriented to our buyer persona and with that will feed our flywheel because we will feedback each other.

Therefore, during the buyer's persona journey we will identify all what concerns to our customer and by acknowledging all that information we will have a competitive advantage because we will know exactly how to behave in every step that the potential customer has.

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

I tend to enjoy and purchase Mazda vehicles. In the next few years I may want to purchase a new one.

  • Awareness Stage: My existing car may be out of warranty and need more maintenance, perhaps I enjoy driving my husband's larger truck more than I used to. I'll start looking at vehicles online to see what new vehicles Mazda has.
  • Consideration Stage: I want to get a new vehicle that sits up higher like my husband's truck, has 4 wheel drive and fits my budget. I'll go to a Mazda dealership and look at new vehicle options, if I don't like what I see I'll explore more online and check more dealerships and other brands.
  • Decision Stage: I'll compare the benefits and budget of all available options and select the vehichle that best fits my logical needs (price, gas mileage, functionality) while still making me happy with emotional needs such as color and comfort.

Consideration Phase: Plethora of choices out there, ultimately narrowed it down to several brands.

Purchasing Phase: SHEIN won my delight, affordable, fashionable, and well-made.

Throughout the awareness, consideration, and decision stages, focusing on the buyer's choice and wants is key to understanding how to serve and get the product delivered or sold to the customer.

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

First, the customer needs awareness of the product or brand. Then he starts paying attention and comparing with similar products. Then it moves to the stage of making the decision to purchase and moving to the payment process.

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

Awareness Stage: Boy or girl sometime after highschool. Realizes that they need some type of education or path to making a living but doesen't know the route that they want to go. They start researching different ways to get that education whether it be college, trade, school, online courses and many other options.

Consideration Stage: After researching some different ways to gain this education, they decide that they want to go the route of online learning aka non-college courses. This is where they begin to do some research on different types of courses whether that be marketing, coding, business, or many other options. Just trying to figure out what field they want to go into with the online learning.

Decision Stage: The boy or girl has now decided that they want to enroll in a coding course or bootcamp. This is where they gather a long list of platforms that offer these courses and begin to do research to narrow this list down. They are researching to make sure that they make the right choice and that after this decision is made, there original problem will be solved which was getting some type of high level education to eventually make a living.

Awareness: John loves to listen to music and would want to buy a bluetooth earphone. But he's broke AF. So he starts to research, stumbles blog, online store reviews, price comparisons, researching audio specifications, etc...

Consideration Stage: Now he's got 5 multiple products to choose from in his shopping cart. They are all good options and has varying cheap prices. The only problem is, John is still broke AF. So he went out to find a way to steal money from the overlords, elites and the banks.

Decision Stage: John decided to not buy the product as he's still broke AF and he needed the money to pay his tuition college. Who knows, maybe he'll buy one in the future.

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

Starbucks:

Awareness: I work remotely on my laptop and enjoy getting out to cafes. But I was constantly annoyed by a lack of wifi at some, no power outlet, noisey environment, bad/expensive coffee, no parking, etc.

Consideration: Unsatisfactory experiences became a major frustration, as I realized how much time and effort was wasted. I began consciously evaluate and researched preferred coffee shops before visiting one.

Selection: Starbucks became my go-to solution. They are the clear winner with free refills, power outlets, steady wifi. I now go to a SBucks without thinking about which cafe to go to, and I always have a consistently good expereince. And the location is not important.
