What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

Buyer personas are key to creating a successful inbound business. Each buyer persona has his or her own journey to making a well-informed decision (i.e. buyer's journey).

The buyer's journey is comprised of three stages:

  • Awareness Stage: The buyer becomes aware that they have a problem.
  • Consideration Stage: The buyer defines their problem and considers options to solve it.
  • Decision Stage: The buyer evaluates and decides on the right provider to administer the solution.

Name a brand that you're a buyer persona for. What does your journey look like to doing business with them?

A brand that I am a buyer persona is Breylee. I have a problem with acne, so I look for different skincare products for acne prone skin. Upon trial and error, I am simply going back to Breylee as it is the most effective for me.

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

Buyer Persona for Starbucks.

Awareness Stage: I want to try something new, but I'm unsure about what kind of coffee I want to get. Do I want it hot or iced? Flavor or no flavor syrup? Bitter, sweet or semi-sweet? Dairy or non-dairy milk? There are too many options.

Consideration Stage: A caramel machiatto is semi-sweet. A chai latte is sweet. A cold brew with milk is bitter. I consider trying something iced that is semi-sweet with a non-dairy milk.

Decision Stage: I decided to try the iced caramel machiatto with oat milk. After stirring it to mix the caramel drizzle and vanilla flavor, I take a sip and I am satisfied.

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

I became aware of a physical change a few months. I considered the different approaches to help and wanted to try a natual route first.  I shared my problem with my sister. She reccomended a vitamin brand given her trust in the sourcing of the ingredients and the positive impact they had on her health. I looked up their website, read through their reviews and options, was offered a promo code while on the site and am now have a monthly subscription with them.

What's an example of a buyer persona with corresponding buyer's journey?

Dean is now aware that he has contaminted water at his new construction site.  Before continuing with laying the foundation for a new high-rise building, he must find a remedial contracting company to clean the water and remove it from the job-site.  Dean has considered doing a cheaper route that will not necessarily provide an accurate means to cleaning the water and removing it the first time.  He knows that if he chooses GWTT, he will get a solution that is accurate and done right the first time.  No cut corners and no extra wasted time. Dean chooses GWTT because he knows that if he provides them with an accurate sample, their engineers will come up with a tailored solution to meet their needs.
