The flywheel represents your company as a whole, but you’ll still have funnel-shaped charts and graphs representing the effectiveness of different processes within your company, and it’s important to make sure those funnels are fueling your flywheel. What possible funnels exist within your flywheel?
I don't represent a company. But learning the flywheel model gave me a clear vision on how to run a company and how to mitigate different roadblocks in the process within its components.
Sales funnel, Marketing funnel, Product/service delivery, Complpaints (customer service), Referral programs and initiatives and in repeatable purchase models ive woked with i'd say repurchases
In the flywheel there are Attract, Engage, Delight. Now the funnel can be detailed again, the steps to get Attract, then the funnel from Attract to Engage and Delight. And so on. I understand this even though I don't currently have my own business. But it can be very useful in my current world of work.
I don't represent a company, but I love the change of visualizing a company's business model from a funnel to a flywheel. People's attitude at the bottom doesn't affect the top in a funnel, whereas a flywheel will keep spinning. The inbound methodology attracts, engage, delight is a much better way.
My business only consists of myself providing a service. I am in the infant stage of my business. But in my flywheel I try to ATTRACT potential customers with social media, ENGAGE striking up general conversations of what their current pain points are and inviting clients for a consultation DELIGHTING them with an example of what my services can do for them, which when service is provided is transformational for them on a personal level. I am very new to this INBOUND stuff and am learning as I go.
According to me the flyweel funnel consists of three parts:
1- Attract
2-Engage
3- Delight
Although, i am not working in any company currently, but i have done variuos of internships and I can say I have tried to practce these so that the company can grow.
I dont represent a company, but I can understand that we have to have capture the right mass audience to get the best prospective clients which can bring. I think most of the small businesses are still going through the traditional flywheel approach as first their marketing team goes out and analyze the market, then after their sales team verifies the leads and finally their sales lead conclude the deal to make profit for the company.
Working at a school implicates a lot of funnels: collaboration between collegues, communication between teachers and students, communication between teachers and parents, the learning progress of each student, or of a class as a whole.. By looking at the bigger picture, you can tell that each funnel interacts with the other. Analizing those interactions helps improving the funnels (e.g. better understanding of the students needs by interviewing the parents --> better learning progess of the individual student).
