The buyer’s journey is the active research process someone goes through leading up to a purchase. It’ll help you understand your audience’s challenges and goals, and provide guidance for brainstorming new content.

Get started creating impactful content for your target audience by brainstorming one content idea for each stage of the buyer’s journey. Then, share your ideas below!

Remember, the buyer’s journey consists of three stages: awareness, consideration, and decision.
To learn more about this, check out the Creating Content for the Buyer’s Journey lesson via HubSpot Academy.

At our car dealersip, I was in charge of giving great insight and detail into our online inventory which gave customers a better understanding of what they potentially want to buy.

If I am a software developer, I can have an awareness content about what causes frequent down times in android mobile apps.

Then I can create consideration content on how to avoid downtime.

I can later have a decision content of why you should choose me as your developer.

Hello,

I am still in the learning stages of the buyers journey so I do not have many ideas, but one idea is a interactive "quiz" for people who aren't sure what they are looking for on our site but know what their goals are. The idea would be to make it exciting and accurate enough to drive them directly to the right resources on our site so there is less time spent in the consideration stage.

Thank you!

Hello,

I am inclined towards blog posts that contain best practice information and thought leadership insights when marketing to executives. When marketing to professionals, how-to blog articles anwering common questions people have combined with thought leadership insights may have a great impact. Infographics are a great way to gain the attention of 20 somethings. Any further insights?

Cheers!

For a yoga brand that I previously worked with, my team created thematic content to garner awareness of offerings. For example, we created social media content for Mental Health Awareness month, that offered tips for maintaining healthy well-being and linked to a free workshop on yoga for depression & anxiety. We also ran a separate email campaign for the existing membership promoting the free workshop as well.

Some things that we have already done for my primary brand has been developing blog posts to educate people about our type of product. We also have written some how-to guides, as well as some holiday-themed content. After watching this segment, I have some other ideas that may better fit our customers and prospects.

They need to be made aware of the needs of the product and improve according to their needs and tastes.

Each step of the buyers journey is very important, each step must be taken carefully and strategically because nowadays customers have unlimited list of choices due to the ongoing technological advances.

I think the first is the most impactful, it's the make it or break it step because making someone aware of their need to purchase something is crucial because customers are different, their needs are different, their priorities are different.

Great call out about the importance of the awareness stage @NoorCH, and how we should consider our customers' different needs and priorities! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
