What OKR are you focusing on?
Objectives and key results (also known as OKRs) is a goal-setting system that helps to ensure that the company focuses efforts on the same important issues throughout the organization. What is the main OKR you're focusing on right now?
*To learn more about this, check out the Setting Business Goals lesson via HubSpot Academy.
in my business our OKRs are set to reach 25% boost in position / clients helped count by next year (thats by top level stake holders), VPs and department heads are as follows : customer service 90% delightful customers rate by monthly basis and progress is tracked on weekly basis + 80% retention, Sales Team : not focusing on hitting revenue numbers but focusing on customers helped count with a goal distributed among team members, also trackable by monthly basis, Marketing Department : KPI goal XX number of quality traffic and conversion potential, likewise for Accounting and HR department
Almost everyone over here has got their OKRs wrong. They are stating their goals, not OKRs. OKRs are short-term objectives. They are objectives with key results. The video showed how an objective like setting up a website can be aligned with key results. If you have an objective of setting up a website, the OKR will be to set it up - design, content and SEO by the end of October. You can set smaller KRs to achieve your objective.
My Objective is to become an Successful Entrepreneur and solve market problems. My KR1 is to get the basic knowledge of idea execution and related essentials (preparing for an US Diploma Scholarship) by Sept 2023.
My KR2 is joining a startup to practice the learnings and simultaneously doing the basic work of the execution before going full time.
Build internal systems and processes to enable scalable client engagements. Results will be that sales increase, volume of work increases, and we have an established process internally for our funnel.
I am currently working on learning about Marketing, and how to apply it to a writer's website, build my writer's website, and write articles, and blog posts for other sites, including some content mills to link back to my writer's platform so maybe I can pick up some freelance writing jobs while working on my first novel.
Currently, my brand is working on expanding our social media page each week by 20 followers. We also have to post every two days on Tik Tok, once a day on Instagram, and monthly on Pinterest.
The company I work for recently launched an initiative to provide better customer service to our branches, which involves bending the rules and treating every concern on a case-by-case basis. Instead of saying "no", we are challenged to find a way to be able to say "yes"-or at least come to a mutually satisfying compromise.
My objective is to build a team of marketing and customer service professionals that are dedicated to accomplishing the goals of the customers and building successful businesses that each get 2 to 5 new high-ticket clients per week. Care, Cultivate, Build.
I am not working at the moment, but that doesn't stop me from setting OKRs for myself. (not working doesn't mean we stop growing), and I think it's essential to grow as a person, not just professionally. Too often, we get caught up with our professional goals. My OKRs this year are: - Read at least 15 books (at least 30% of them be non-fiction/business books) - Getting good at a second language, whether it's brushing up my Mandarin so I can be fluent in a business situation or picking up Japanese again.
I am a digital artist and I am currently focusing on Numeric OKR, specifically growing my social media followers quarterly. I am currently focused on Facebook (6 followers) and Instagram (100 followers). Next quarter if I meet or surpass my requirements due to being consistently present, I plan to start working on growing my newsletter.
