What OKR are you focusing on?
Objectives and key results (also known as OKRs) is a goal-setting system that helps to ensure that the company focuses efforts on the same important issues throughout the organization. What is the main OKR you're focusing on right now?
*To learn more about this, check out the Setting Business Goals lesson via HubSpot Academy.
Objective:Build our reputation by offering analytical marketing prowess in vertical markets using the customer journeys. It is an interplay of brand values and content strategy we bring to the table.
Key Result:Identify and audience of 50 prospects, build 5 new relationships per quarter, convert 1 of these to a 12-month contract per quarter
Our main OKR is client satisfaction with our work, with other key results including size/length/quality of relationship between client and agency and a variety of tangible, measurable KPIs to measure projects, such as clicks, CTRs, impressions, etc.

As an invidivual marketer, the OKR that I'm focusing on at the moment is increasing website traffic to expand our audience and convert more of these leads into customers.
I am focusing on gathering information I could know more about the market like focusing on what works for easy success, avoiding squirrel syndrome, activities that create results, multitasking mindfully, and developing one big project at a time. It shocks me to see how many entrepreneurs continue to get in their own way by focusing on the wrong things in business. There’s no reason to make success hard when it’s easy and don’t focus on what we don’t know at first, we’ll just get frustrated and stuck. Focus instead on what you can do and keep going to gain momentum. This means focusing on the easy parts first, then coming back to the more difficult aspects of building your business. Hopefully, by then we’ll have built up enough momentum that it won’t break our productive focus.
I'm currently focusing on the objective of setting the processes around training and procedures involved in my current employer's social media team. The main Key Results of this Objective are mostly binary, in that they are either completed or they aren't (ex. record training video for Newsletter process by August 11th).
As an online rebranding firm is rebranding products at the convenience of our customers using latest technologies. The main OKR is to boost sales by creating happy customers through delightful customer services and top notch creative rebrands.
OKR (Objectives & Key Results) are great to align the company on what to focus on in the next quarter and how to achieve this, but actions are the main driver for your success.
For us at Appbuff the main focus of OKRs is on actions & implementation when setting our goals, hence the acronym OKRA.
OKRA, composed of Objectives, Key Results + Actions, focuses on “getting things done”. This is achieved via initial alignment on Objectives & Key Results, followed by proposing & implementing continuous actions from the team s to achieve the OKRs.
The more actions we carry out, try & even sometimes fail at, the closer we get to achieve our results based on the Agile Methodology.
