My objective as a person transitioning to freelancing, i want to have a level of mastery on a CRM tool in this case Hubspot, which i feel will help me achieve my key results of being sellable in the next three months.
Our main OKR is pipeline. However, lack of clarity has been a huge problem at the company. Pipeline from which segment, which product? We have goals and OKRs, but too many of them, and lack of ability to prioritize among competing leaders. I also feel like this session doesn't recognize the need for people / resource capacity dedicated to each OKR.

Based on my current state of Artificialgrass Kenya- a home improvement company; the main OKR I’m focusing on is growing the brand’s visibility and generating consistent sales through optimized digital strategies. The objective is to establish Artificialgrass Kenya as the go-to solution for artificial grass and landscaping services in Nairobi and beyond. To achieve this, my key results include: increasing social media engagement and reach by 50% over the next quarter through targeted content and SEO-friendly posts; generating at least 100 qualified leads monthly via Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp; and converting 30% of those leads into paying clients through improved messaging, customer service, and follow-ups. This OKR aligns with our need to make the business sustainable by focusing efforts on digital growth, customer acquisition, and brand positioning.
For iDENTIFY, a fintech data platform helping banks and credit unions modernize and unify their data, my primary OKR should be aligned with customer growth, adoption, and impact—especially since my services span data migration, analytics, compliance, and ongoing support.
Here’s a strong main OKR you could focus on right now:
Objective: Accelerate platform adoption and measurable data value across community banks and credit unions.
Key Results:
Launch 10 new Snowflake-powered data platforms for banking clients in Q3.
Achieve a 90% onboarding completion rate within 30 days of project kickoff.
Deliver at least 2 live dashboards per client within the first 60 days of platform go-live.
Reach 85%+ client satisfaction on post-implementation survey (NPS or CSAT).
Generate 3 qualified referrals from existing banking clients this quarter.
As a salesperson for Nile Online, my OKRs focus on driving sales growth, enhancing customer experience, and improving product knowledge. Key objectives include achieving monthly sales targets, maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings, and completing product training sessions. By tracking progress through specific metrics, such as average order value and customer retention rates, I can stay focused on my goals and deliver value to customers. These OKRs enable me to prioritize efforts and drive business success.
Objective: Work toward a career that is more Business focused (preferably one in Marketing)
Key Results 1: earn certificates and take online courses to sharpen and learn skills. At the rate of steadily doing one section a day to complete the first course by the end of the week and then continuing my studies with another course I find interesting.
Key result 2: after completeing a few courses and earning certificates I will start looking around for positions like ones im interested. (maybe sooner)
I'm focusing on getting more people to adopt my company's educational tools. My KRs involve increasing traffic to the blog page and logins to the educational platform from the blogs.
