My name is Howard Spencer from Trinidad & Tobago. You can say that I am at a crossroads in my life right now. How to start? I was academically trained as an engineer, first electrical & computer engineering, then transitioned as a petroleum engineer, niching as a drilling engineer. However due to a lack of job opportunities and the resulting resume gap, I have decided to close the door on that chapter on my life and start my own business.
The business concept that I have in mind and on a rough paper draft is a wellness centre. The wellness centre will be geared towards people who are challenged with lifestyle diseases e.g. diabetes, heart disease, hypertension etc. and people who want to prevent these conditions from happening to them.
The services that will be provided to the target audience will be in-dining and/or take-out, cooking classes, meal delivery services, gym facilities, personal training/ physiotherapy / physical rehabilitation services, lifestyle medical services (which will include therapy for sleep and stress/mental health)
Right now, I am starting from ground zero and don't have a lot of capital at my disposal. Therefore, in my opinion, the internet would be the best avenue for me to grow my brand and help me towards my goals. This is why I'm looking to learn, practice and improve my skills in digital marketing and part of that skill development process is joining the Hubspot academy.

I worked as a Senior Tribal Partnership Specialist for 91 tribes in a 10-state region. I managed the tribal partnership specialist and worked as a recruiter for the 2010 Census.

I build solid relationships with Tribal leaders and maintained trust during the 2010 Census.
I'm currently a Chess coach in a chess club around Vegas, and currently pursuing sales and marketing as my main profession. I'd attempted copywriting in the past and I'd genuinely enjoy the experience and all the knowledge I've learned. I usually ask them questions regarding the current situation of their business/company then inquire them about where to they want their business to be in X amount of months/years. Then the possible solutions that we can utilize to try and attain the dream state within the timeframe.
I am very much new to this platform. I have completed my Masters course in Fashion & Luxury Management. I am giving some time to excel my career in the field of business development.
