I'm glad to connect with other students. Hey! How has it been?

Well, here's what you should know about me;

• I'm a Freelance Writer
• I work in the Online Education Industry
• I held a free class in a Whatsapp group and was tasked to generate leads.

I already had new contacts from a group I was in so, I decided to write an ad copy and send as a Whatsapp broadcast.

It converted at 29% which got me excited and proud of my wordsmithing skills😅

But,out of the 40 students, I got only one paying customer!

Well, I didn't just stop there! I wanted to know why the remaining 39 didn't buy my paid course, like, wasn't it good enough?

But, I discovered few things;

• The remaining 39 students are in different stages of the buyer's journey. A huge amount of them are still gathering information.
• The offer wasn't HOT enough! Say, lukewarm.
• No persuasion technique - no FOMO, no sense of urgency etc

I was just starting out as a freelancer then and I really had things to figure out.

But, now... especially with this course, I'm 99% sure, with the right strategy, I can not only gain quality leads but convert them even beyond the intial sales pitch.

I've been working on my craft!

• I help my customers and prospects grow better by providing educative and relatable contents, engaging in one-on-one conversations and sharing valuable resources with them.

Hello, everyone!

I'm Sophia, a Content Marketing Associate. I'm fairly new to the marketing industry so I don't really have anything to say about prospects and customer growth, but I'm really excited to learn more about all of that as I go through the courses here in HubSpot. 

Despite being new to this industry, I have a couple of experiences in the past couple of years that inspired me to pursue this career path. One of those is being the head of the Information and Publicity Committe for a webinar that my class organized for our senior year. I had a lot of fun managing our Facebook page for the event along with writing captions that will draw potential webinar attendees in. 

With that, I'm every excited to learn everything there is to learn that will definitely help me do my best in my profession.
