The best thing that you can do is to utilize YouTube to do an overview of all of the ones that are of interest to you.  

Also, take the time to discover platforms that you may not know about at all or the less common.  Then choose one and focus on engaging the types of customers that you prefer to service.
This is rather complicated because each platform is different and you would utilize each in a specific way for both organic (free) and for paid marketing.
